Tubular Bells (Oldfield)
This is a version I did using a couple of the parts from Mike Oldfields original. I had to change the (Exorcist) theme a bit because the odd time signature of the original didn't go too well with thumping drums.

EXP One. (Reese) A dance type tune.

DJ Breaks. (Reese) Another up tempo number.

Eye. (Reese) Up tempo again.

Sad Piano. (Reese) A slow number with strings and things, oh and a piano.

Automaton. (Reese) Back to up tempo again.

Sudo Ice. (Reese) I did this one after listening to a tune called Icebreaker by German composer Simon V. I suppose I pinched a few of his ideas.

The Whistler. (Reese) A slower number with a bit of cranked guitar towards the end. I named this after the synth patch I used in it.

My Latest. Been working on this off and on for a while, don't know if it's finished yet.

I decided to add some of my music to my site,
it seemed like a good idea at the time - but as I'm writing this I'm having doubts. I suppose if people like it then it was a good idea, but if they don't then the idea was a bad one............here goes anyway.

The recording setup I use is computer based and most of my instruments are of the 'soft synth' type (except for my old Strat and Marshall amp). I play everything in using a midi controller keyboard and correct my (many) mistakes in the piano roll view.

My current setup is as follows;
Recording software. Cubase SX3 and Sonar 7 Producer.
Soft Synths. Kontakt 2, Albino 3, Predator, Octopus, Absynth 3, Garritan Personal Orchestra, Addictive Drums, Battery 3, Trilogy and Atmosphere.
I also use Waves and Sonalksis plugin's for filtering, reverb's and delay.
