1. Set your start image similar to the one below. Background, Box and Ball all on separate layers. Set the Guides to the places where you want the ball to bounce. Lock the Background and Box layers, this will prevent you from accidentally moving them. Open the Animation Window - Window>Animation - what you see will be your first frame -
2. Make a new frame by clicking on the little folded paper icon on the Animation Window and reposition the ball on the first bounce point -
If you have snap selected (Shift+Ctrl+; ) the ball will snap to the guides.
3. Click on the Tween button (to the left of the new frame button) and enter these settings -
Hit OK and you will see five frames added after the first frame with the ball being repositioned in equal steps.
4. Make sure that the last frame on the right is selected, click on New Frame and reposition the ball on the third bounce point. Then repeat step 3 -
5. Carry on repeating steps 4 and 3 repositioning the ball on each new frame and Tweening with the previous frame until you have covered all the bounce points.
6. To save your image, click on the Image Ready icon at the bottom of the toolbar -

This will open your animation in Image Ready.
7. Go to File>Save Optimized As...(Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S) to open the dialog box. Give your Animation a name and select Images Only in the 'Save As Type' box and hit save. You should end up with something like this -

This is a very simple animation but the technique is the same for more complicated animations. Experiment and have fun.
